So how do I wade through insulin resistance, diabetes, hyper tension, cholesterol, thyroid, PCOS, insomnia and other common system flaws ?
I am not a doctor however I have noticed that when health sets in these conditions disappear slowly. Give it 12 weeks a minimum for basic health to set in. Your discipline pays off.
Personally I got thyroid off of me, my mother’s thyroid issues vanished and some of my friends reported insulin resistance, diabetes got reversed. These folks are hale and healthy today. There was no magic. It is just the innate healing ability of the body that allowed them to get better. Don’t stop any medication during the process. Slowly you will reach a point where your medication is reduced or not needed. This point was about one year for my friends and my mother.
The healing body needs time, space and no distractions. By just removing the disablers and distractors from the path, your body does the magic. You could discuss all this with your doctor but I doubt if they will support you as our life sciences do not teach them the ingenious aspects. It only teaches them how to fix or repair things 🤷🏽♀️May be your doctors are more open and wise. You could try.
Get a through health check done even before you get started. Work with your doctor to identify what is not doing great. Make sure it has the following:
blood work
lipids
kidney functions
liver functions
thyroid
vitamins
diabetes (HbA1c)
inflammation markers (atleast hsCRP)
Insulin resistance is hard to figure out in labs and let us discuss that in detail.
