Day 1: Bowl method + Water + Eating window (4-8 PM)
Whooo hoo… Day 1 kickstarted awesome and ended awesome. Had a busy day and yet kept to the plan. The biggest investment in the process is designing the environment that can enable you. Now my family understands that i am on a mission and they are supporting me.
The food is not diet friendly (a south Indian home is heavily carby) however I am grateful that someone cooks delicious meals for me everyday. So I am not cribbing about macros and micros now. The cognitive load is removed by just that one sentence.
Eat whatever is available at home in the portions dictated by the BOWL in the order prescribed. That is my only rule.
Guiding structures aka environments go a long way in behavioural changes. This social contract is also helping the cause. Slowly the habit is setting in and the focus is high with reduced tracking.
