Self Leadership, a series
When it comes to leadership, we always think about teams, bosses, decision makers etc.
Just the word leader brings a number of associations in our mind. It is typically related to strength, focus, decisions, prioritisation, keep going, move past the crises and goodness. A leader typically is seen as a hero who can bash on regardless in our minds. In other words, we look up to the leaders. Generally leaders lead and there is always someone or many to follow. It is all about others.
I want to turn this idea and point the fingers to ourselves and ask, why can’t we lead ourselves? why should leadership be only about leading others?
I am calling this idea as self-leadership.
There is a leader in each one of us who will lead us with strength, focus, grit, perseverance, intent and will. Can we awaken this leader in us? Can we take the path of self-leadership when everything seems to be falling apart? This month, let us explore this idea deeply in 30 posts (every day). I want to share with you how crisis has shaped me as a better human than before and share all the tips, techniques, methods and frameworks so that you can use it when needed.
🥂 to self-leadership!
