Digital Tools
Smart phones are an integral part of our lives these days. So let me suggest you a few apps that can help you document your progress better.
To measure weight, I love the Happy Scale app (paid)
To take food pics, I love DietSnaps (paid)
To take progress pics, I love Snapsie (free)
To keep track of progress and reflection notes, I love Notion (free and paid)
To have a social accountability, I love Whatsapp (easy to click pics, send voice notes and keep things in one place) (free). In case you don’t have a likeminded group, I suggest Substack. No easier place to write a daily blog.
To keep a timer, I love the native Clock app on iPhone. I am sure there is something like that in Android as well.
I love things that work and work well (no endorsements).
Can we not do it just with smart phone by some work arounds? Yes, you can. The problem with that is you need to organize the data all by yourself and that is a lot of work. In our busy schedules, that can be avoided with a few apps. If you are game for doing it all by using smartphone, happy to share tips on the same.
